Todays post is how not to be sad,
being a teenager, feeling sad is something that isn't rare.
I have come up with two tips over time that have helped us to stay happy when we are having one of those days. we hope they help some of you
☺☺☺☺☺☺☺
Number 1☺starting you day with a smile
try to smile for 20 seconds when you wake up, even if you have to force yourself. Its proven to make you feel happy for the rest of the day ☺ as difficult as it may be starting the day with exercise can also make you more ready for the day ahead, by exercise I 1000% do not mean waking up at 5 in the morning and going for a 5km run, no no no. By exercise I mean doing something as little as walking to school instead of taking the bus or doing a few sit ups / star jumps before breakfast. THINK POSITIVELY - if you start the day thinking it will be awful then chances are its going to be. You are going to pass that science test you hardly revised for you are going to get the last edible sandwich in tescos for lunch, you are going to have a fab day starting as soon as you wake up.
Number 2 ☺ don't stress
with sadness comes worries and stress, they can sometimes be the cause of the sadness altogether. For me personally I tend to worry about everything just as I falling asleep at night, and when your tired things seem 10 times worst than what they really are. Thats why I keep a small notepad and pen by my bed so I can write down the things I'm worried about. That way i have them out of my mind and onto the paper and i don't have to worry about them until the morning and by that time they don't seem so bad anyway.
